The Academy Concept
Eclectic is a sparkling network organization, dedicated to support professionals in the realization of their ambitions. Personal development is encouraged and facilitated; individual choices are respected.
The Eclectic Academy is a shared initiative of Eclectic’s consultants and management team, based on the ambition to share and develop knowledge relevant for the domain in which the organization operates. Relevant topics include project management, service oriented architecture, SAP’s Solution Manager and Agile Development. Based on market developments, new topics are frequently added. When desired, the seminar setting is extended towards smaller groups which develop and exchange knowledge on a deeper level.

The Theme Academy
The Theme Academy is all about spreading knowledge. Eclectic invites one or two speakers on a specific subject to present their knowledge, idea or vision. On the other hand the entire Eclectic network receives an invitation to attend the Academy. On average about 50 professionals attend the Academy. “This type of academy has benefits for all parties involved” Demmenie explains “the speaker gets access to our network and meet his peers, but also shows this knowledge on a certain subject and thus positioning himself as an authority in the field. Meanwhile the attendees get the benefit of his knowledge in short an clear presentations of max 1,5 hours”.

The Knowledge Academy
The Knowledge Academy is usually a spin off from one of the Theme Academies. Consultants express their interest for further in depth knowledge of a topic, thus forming a “study group” of sorts. The Knowledge Academies usually consists of 8 to 10 people. Eclectic completely facilitates this group with a location, food & drink and even an online platform to share information. Where the Theme Academy focuses on Spreading Knowledge, the Knowledge Academy is all about Sharing Knowledge.
The Science Academy
The Science Academy is the last one and its purpose is to create knowledge. With the cooperation of universities and scientific specialists, we hope to set up a study environment around topics like Sourcing Strategy and Supply Chain Management. Eclectic is still building on the exact format at this moment.
