About the company

Our client is active in the IT industry, they are developing software applications in Oracle and Java. They have developed a successful application for clients worldwide.  Their head office is based in Culemborg. The company and their client base is growing at a rapid pace, therefore they have opened two other support offices in Kuala Lumpur and India.

The ideal candidate is living and permitted to work in the Netherlands. He or she will have 5+ years in working in a Scrum Master role and a deep understanding of the Agile way of working.

You will be the scrum master of 2 teams. The teams are at the beginning of their Agile journey so we are looking for a passionate, seasoned Scrum Master that can guide the teams into the Agile transition.

Your responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure that the team is adhering to the Scrum framework and maintaining a high level of productivity
• Help the team identify and remove blockers that may impede progress
• Act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders, communicating progress and addressing any concerns
• Coach team members, and the organization, on Agile and Scrum best practices
• Help the team to identify, track and deliver on the sprint goals and objectives.
• Ensure that team members are properly trained on Scrum principles and practices
• Contribute to the Agile journey by taking Product Teams, and the organization to the next level

Who are you?

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
• Relevant Scrum Master certification (PSM II / CSM)
• Self-starter mentality with excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• You are living in the Netherlands (or relocating on short notice
• You are permitted to work in the Netherlands

Nice to have

• Working experience in a Software Development company, as a Product Owner or Developer
• Experience in Change Management
• Experience in Agile Coaching
• Scaled Professional Scrum Experience/Certification (SPS)
• Experience with implementing, and working with, SAFE
• Experience with Azure DevOps and tooling like Miro
• Dutch language skills

Additional Information

• Work location is the office in Culemborg (the Netherlands)
• Full-time, fixed employment (40 hours / week) if you are available for 32-36 hours feel free to apply as well
